I was kidding in my last entry about there not being any news to report around here. More like I was being facetious. For proof, see the Happy Blogs of June 17 and 19. For more proof, allow me to finally add some more happies to share that have been waiting to be reported until the all-clear was sounded.
Happy 6th grade teaching position at North Intermediate School to Angie! The stinker had an interview and got hired over a month ago, and except for Bill Barnick telling everyone about it, including Dad/Larry/Paco on Memorial Day at the park, it was a BIG SECRET. Ha! Anyway, HURRAY ANGIE!!!!!!
Happy Director of Residential Life at Gustavus to Charlie! After an excruciatingly long wait to learn the outcome of his interview, he found out the good news a week ago today but wasn't able to let the cat out of the bag until the official announcement was made by the college. Okay, so why did Chuck Eggert know about it when Dad saw him at Waldo's this afternoon?? Ah, the working of the small town information superhighway....
Happy US to know that Ethan and Owen will be moving to St. Peter with their parents (unless Miss Char runs a boarding school for toddlers). We're thrilled, delighted, excited, happy, and also RELIEVED that we no longer have to keep our lips sealed about the great news!!
