A day for dads

It's Father's Day on the Internet. Check  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other of a gazillion social media platforms and you will see photos of dads, grandfathers, and kids. I got to spend the day with some of my favorite MN dads and kiddos.

Tanner woke up to a Father's Day gift that toasts his bread
with a Packers' logo.  How cool is that?

Charlie had fun snuggling up to his two bear cubs.

We didn't get to see Evan today, but here he is playing
in the sand with the chicas on a beach trip last week.

We had a great time in Owatonna, with entertainment provided by four little boys. Here they are taking turns riding their bikes up a ramp, with Tanner as chaperone and traffic supervisor.

Water squirters kept everyone busy for a good part of the afternoon. The boys squirted each other, shot water high in the air to imitate fireworks, marched in a water squirter parade, and sang the Star Spangled Banner together with squirters full of water and ready to go as soon as the flag waved over the land of the freee-eeee and the home of the brave.

It's getting close to the 4th of July, and these guys are ready.

Eating was on the agenda, of course. Dessert tastes good outside on the patio.

Here are the MN dads, all in a row.

One last photo, that sumsit up: "Like, Happy Father's Day!"
