Hannukah had ended by the time the cousins gathered, but all of them looked forward to Evan, Hannah, and Vivian lighting the menorah and saying the blessings. The pictures speak for themselves about the fascination the cousins have for this tradition.

P.S. A few days before the NC cousins arrived, Ethan asked me if Evan would be lighting the menorah this year. He said he'd seen menorahs in a lot of windows in houses in St. Peter, which had made him think about it. I didn't have the heart to tell him he'd been seeing Swedish candelabra in the windows. Sweet Ethan!
