It's the last weekend in January, believe it or not. I choose to believe it even though I can't imagine how five weeks have gone by since Christmas. Yesterday was Charlie's birthday (see previous entry), marking 33 years since he was a sweet and snuggly newborn. Now he and Angie have two snuggly boys of their own. Can somebody tell me where 33 years have gone?
This weekend included Charlie's birthday, four little boys playing and taking baths, their parents coming and going to Gustavus for various events, Annie as designated driver for bridesmaid dress shopping, Miles riding on a zamboni, skyping with the NC cousins, and other assorted activities.
This morning, Westy woke up with a runny faucet.
He and Miles got in the tub just in time for tryouts for the role of Funnel Boy,
counterpart of the Tin Man, in "The Wizard of Oz, Underwater World".
Later, Grandpappy and Miles read the newspaper in the sunroom, while
Tanner and Westy looked over the news in the living room.
Grandpappy and Miles had some quiet snuggle time before Miles
and Westy went to see Grandpa Dave and Grandma Doreen.
