The cousins were in town

Larry/Dad/Gpappy and I returned from the airport a couple of hours ago to a quiet house. After nearly a week of having four to ten more people than usual roaming around here, the silence makes my ears ring. E, E, and the chicas are in the air, on their way to NC. A, T, M, and W are enjoying a winter wonderland of snow that has descended on Otown. CP, E, and O are watching the Gophers possibly win a bowl game. APP is in the sunny warmth of Puerto Rico, having fun (we hope!) with the GAC women's basketball team.

I haven't decided about cousin blog entries-- how many, which photos of the hundreds to choose from-- but I'm thinking small so I can spend more time sorting the sweet, fun, and goofy pictures for a photo book again this year.

Instead of starting at the very beginning, how about a few pics from the no-snow photo shoot we had at the Gustavus sign? If we'd been able to have all 14 of us together the day after Christmas instead, there would've been white and fluffy snow to set the scene. We decided it might have been awkward to Photoshop Angie in, so we settled for the cold wind to keep us focused!

Westy and Hannah decided to photo bomb a parent-sibling shot

...and they were quickly joined by the rest of the cousins!

Here is everyone looking cold but happy...

...but not all of us realized the camera was still clicking!

Cold, windy, and fun!
