August weekend

Here is some information for the record, to remind me of the sweetness that exists among the six Potts/Dellon/Grimmius cousins. Thanks to various photo contributors.

In addition to the boy cousin weekend, we had a long and interesting talk with Vivian and Hannah on Skype. We learned about Vivi's entomology experiment with ants: If you put sugar on a spoon to lure ants in your direction, the ant that crawls on the spoon will end up in your mouth of you choose to taste the sugar while the ant is climbing on it. And if you swallow the sugar you are tasting, you also swallow the ant.

Another exciting thing we found out is that the Dellons went for a ride in a canoe together at Hannah's camp. Hannah pointed at Vivi, and excitedly told us that "this little woman can paddle a canoe!" Who knew?
